It arrived looking great. I checked the front and edges before putting the wrapping away, and there was nothing wrong with either. Very pleased.

Holding Night has subtle, irregular brush marks.
The 36" x 36" fills the wall well, and the Obsidian Black frame looks clean.
The handmade feel is clearest when I stop beside the painting.
We avoided the brightest part of the wall for this.
Holding Night was packed securely, and both the painted surface and frame arrived without scuffs or dents.
Holding Night looks darker and clearer in person.
The raised paint gives the gold chandelier against black much more depth.
There is also more variation in the main reason I hesitated was the possibility of receiving a textured print instead of something that felt hand painted. Up close, the uneven brushwork and layered paint are obvious. The gold chandelier against black than the listing image, so the piece feels genuine and worth the wait.
Not gonna lie it took me forever to unpack this 😂 So many layers of protection.
At night with one warm lamp?? So much better. Shadows look deeper
YES. 🖤
"Darkness becomes home with light."
Darkness settles over the space as a Gothic chandelier awakens with candlelight. Its pointed arches and quiet glow echo the timeless language of Gothic architecture, where light symbolizes refuge, faith, and hope. Night is not the absence of light—it is the moment before light chooses to return.
Inspired by the quiet atmosphere of Gothic cathedrals after nightfall, this work captures the moment when candlelight becomes the only companion in the darkness. The soaring arches represent spiritual ascent, while the warm glow reminds us that hope does not erase the night—it endures within it.
