I usually prefer seeing things in person. This turned out really well.

The Distant Vale was packed securely, and both the painted surface and frame arrived without scuffs or dents.
I liked this painting online, but it's even more impressive in person.
I expected every part to be equally defined from the enlarged photograph. The softer areas feel intentional in person and make the painting easier to look at.
We had never had a painting shipped before, and I expected it to be more stressful. It was protected well and arrived without damage. There was a fair amount of wrapping to dispose of, but that was the only inconvenience. I am happy with the painting and glad we gave ordering online a try instead of continuing to put it off.
We hung it between two doorways; the scale feels balanced.
The shadowed valley reads more clearly off-screen.
We hung this above our bedroom chest, and it gave the room a moody modern focal point without needing more decor around it.
The listing mentioned that it was hand painted, but I still wondered how obvious that would be. In person, there is real surface variation in the layers are easy to see and the valley layers and distant light. Side light picks up the brushwork nicely, while straight-on light keeps the painting calm and not overly shiny.
The 24" x 20" and Obsidian Black frame look balanced on the wall.
Put this in the small reading corner of my study. The misty layers make that part of the room feel deeper without adding a lot of color.
Perfect artwork. Arrived safely and looks beautiful on the wall.
I really like the artwork, but the colors are a little darker than they appeared on my monitor. It actually works fine in my space so I'm keeping it. The quality is good and the frame feels sturdy. Just something to keep in mind if you're expecting lighter tones.
Quirky and atmospheric. Fantastic handcrafted artwork, great addition to my gallery wall, perfect for a cathedral-like space.
"The farthest places often live within us first."
Mountain ridges dissolve into layers of mist as a quiet valley stretches toward the horizon. Deep charcoal tones and subtle golden textures create a sense of depth and stillness, while the winding river draws the eye into a landscape that feels both distant and timeless.
Inspired by remote valleys, rugged highlands, and mountain landscapes veiled in mist.
This artwork explores the emotional experience of looking beyond what is known. Rather than depicting a specific place, it reflects the enduring human desire to seek, wander, and imagine what lies further ahead.
