I was worried it would only look good in the website photos. Thankfully it looks lovely in our ordinary room too, without any special lighting. I spent time checking the measurements before ordering, which helped. It is a nice feeling to have it on the wall after all that deciding, and I am happy with the choice.
River Of Shadows was packed securely, and both the painted surface and corners arrived without scuffs or dents.
Buy this for the wall above our sofa and it filled the space perfectly. The black and gold colors look great.
It was quite a package to open, but the painting was safe inside. I had been nervous about shipping, so finding it clean and undamaged was a relief. We hung it that weekend, and I have enjoyed seeing it every day since. The wrapping was a little inconvenient, but I was glad it had protected the painting properly.

The 32" x 24" is large enough to feel intentional, and the frameless finish gives it a finished look. Natural light shows the texture without creating too much glare.
The 40" x 30" piece arrived securely packed, with no damage to the Dark Walnut frame.
There is also more variation in the main reason I hesitated was the possibility of receiving a textured print instead of something that felt hand painted. Up close, the uneven brushwork and layered paint are obvious. The flowing dark brushwork than the listing image, so the piece feels genuine and worth the wait.
The horizontal size finally filled the empty space above our sofa. The silver and gold movement breaks up the black without making the room feel busy.
