The village looks mistier and less beige in person.

The road draws the eye down our long hallway.
Arrived well secured and in perfect condition. The frame was square and the carton had plenty of corner padding.
“Every departure begins at a familiar place.”
A quiet road winds through an old village beneath a pale, overcast sky. Weathered buildings, dark rooftops, and a stone gateway emerge in muted grays, ochre, and brown, creating a dreamlike atmosphere suspended between familiarity and the unknown.
Inspired by historic European villages and the symbolism of passageways, the work explores belonging and departure, where an ordinary gateway becomes a quiet threshold between the past and an uncertain future.
