The colors are lovely; the photos miss some of the texture.

It changes noticeably between morning and evening light. The frameless edge keeps the darker palette looking neat.
The wait felt longer because I was excited to see it, but the painting arrived safely. We checked it over and found no damage. Getting through the packaging took a little time, then hanging it was the enjoyable part. I am really happy with how it looks in our dining room. It has made that plain wall feel finished.
It's not the completely smooth surface I was used to with framed prints. I find myself looking at it more because of that.
I almost skipped this because it is hard to judge darker artwork online. After seeing it at home, I was relieved that the wilted flowers stayed clear, the canvas felt substantial, and the moody look was not overly theatrical.
It finally filled the blank wall in the guest room.
Online it looked flatter, but in person there is more depth around the wilted flowers and the overall palette feels more moody.
I was most worried about shipping because the piece is fairly large. The outer package showed normal handling wear, but the inner protection kept the burnt black wood frame and painted surface completely safe.
You can see raised paint around the wilted flowers.
“Some flowers need not wait to be received.”
A scattered bouquet rests across a dark tabletop, its white petals faintly glowing between muted blue and black. An empty chair and vessels recede into the background, allowing the silence after blooming to become the true subject of the scene.
Inspired by flowers that were never given. They once bloomed for someone, yet were never received—a reflection on waiting, disappointment, and the moment when feeling no longer needs an answer.
