The box had been knocked about a little, but the painting inside was safe. Nothing was scratched, and it looked lovely straight out of the wrapping.

It fits on the long stair wall better than expected, and the open moor remains visible from across the room.
Ours hangs beside the guest bed, not centered over it.
Looks warmer under our lamps than in the website photo.
I almost skipped this because it is hard to judge darker artwork online. After seeing it at home, I was relieved that the open moor stayed clear, the canvas felt substantial, and the atmospheric look was not overly theatrical.
Tracking was steady and the painting arrived intact.
In person, the open moor looks atmospheric and richer than online.
I was mainly buying this for the texture, and it delivered. The paint around the open moor feels irregular in a convincing way.
The size guide was accurate, which mattered because this wall is awkwardly proportioned. In daylight the gray-green areas become clearer, while the dark walnut wood frame keeps the overall look moody and finished.
