We were out when the delivery notice came, so I was anxious until we could bring the parcel inside. The painting was fine when we opened it. There was plenty of protection, and nothing had moved around enough to cause damage. I am really pleased with it now it is hung. All that worrying turned out to be unnecessary.
Window light catches little ridges in the paint, especially through the blue-gray sections and darker edges.
The soft gray-blue layers show clear brush marks and raised paint. It feels genuinely hand painted without looking rough or overly textured.
I kept coming back to this painting but wasn't sure about ordering without seeing it. I checked the size carefully and looked at the close-ups before finally deciding. I am glad I did. It feels like a proper painting in our home, and I have enjoyed it much more than another print would have pleased me.
