There are small, uneven bits that remind me it's handmade. I prefer that to a surface that looks perfectly smooth from every angle.

The package was easy to open without touching the artwork, and there was no damage or strong smell.
We hung this above the shallow shoe cabinet by the front door. There isn't much room to stand back in that space, so we kept the surrounding wall plain. I like seeing it on the way in instead of saving it for a rarely used room. The small gothic note feels like part of our home rather than a display.
A softer finish than the photograph, especially when viewed nearby.
We moved it around for a few days before hanging it above the media cabinet. That spot gives the composition enough breathing room, and the darker colors work with the furniture while the room still feels comfortable.
The layered composition reads more clearly off-screen.
The size guide was accurate, which mattered because this wall is awkwardly proportioned. In daylight the charcoal and gray areas become clearer, while the dark walnut frame keeps the overall look subtle and finished.
I was mainly buying this for the texture, and it delivered. The paint around the layered composition feels irregular in a convincing way.
In person, the layered composition looks understated and richer than online.
The blue city shows more depth and shadow in person.
The framed canvas arrived protected on every side, with clean corners and useful hanging hardware.
I worried the dark city would look muddy outside the product photos. In our dim hallway, the buildings and street remain clear, while daylight reveals cooler blue layers.
“Some streets belong to the night alone.”
Deep blue and charcoal gray shroud the deserted streets of the old city; Gothic spires and building silhouettes fade into the night, while rows of utility poles stretch along the road, gradually disappearing into the distance. Faint starlight falls on the damp ground, casting a cool and subdued glow. With no pedestrians and no lit windows, the city sheds its daytime order, leaving only buildings, roads, and the night sky facing one another, creating a silence that borders on stillness.
Inspired by those fleeting moments when the city falls into complete silence. As the lights gradually fade, familiar streets lose their human activity and sounds, and buildings begin to reveal a different, slower, and more ancient aspect. This work focuses on this uninhabited stretch of time, transforming the night from merely a backdrop for the city into its true protagonist—when the last lights fade away, a city, too, finds its own silence.
